From taxi driver to a millionaire.

Growing up, Clint Arthur always wanted to be something special. Growing up, his parents were constantly fighting, so he worked tirelessly for success to earn their love and affection.

His #1 vision was to be an entrepreneur, so he attended the Wharton Business School, graduating with a pristine 4.0 GPA in entrepreneurship. But upon returning home, he discovered his biological father wasn’t the man who raised him, and he began re-evaluating.

Clint moved to LA and spent thirteen years trying to make it big. As he strived in the performance industry, he made ends meet working as a taxi driver. It was on one of his drives that Clint had a transformational awakening moment, and decided to focus on earning.

From the gourmet food industry to real estate, Clint began working his way up the success ladder. After eight years, Clint had become a millionaire! Inspired by a discussion with a shaman, Clint wrote a list answering this question:

“If this was going to be the last year of my life, what would I want to accomplish?”

The next day, January 1st, 2009, Clint began writing his first book, which has now led to 21 best sellers including his most recent release, Wisdom Of The Men.

Beautiful, I ask you, if this was going to be the last year of your life, what would YOU want to accomplish?

Unleashing confidence.

Later that year, Clint attended a vegan weight loss retreat. One rule was no drinking or drugs while at the retreat. At the end of the two weeks, he returned to drinking, but ditched marijuana. This simple shift led to incredible results moving forward in his career. Just six weeks later, he did his first of what became 117 TV appearances!

Using marijuana led Clint to surround himself with a different crowd of people. When he ditched marijuana and then subsequently ditched alcohol at age 48, it also meant disconnecting with people that held him back.

Who do you hang out with when you drink?

Without smoking or drinking, Clint immediately upleveled his inner circle and also discovered an abundance of time. He used this opportunity to continue pursuing his career, working hard, and getting ahead.

Community and time are two powerful parts of becoming successful, but for any of it to happen, you need courage. When you are buzzed driving home, hungover in the morning, or thinking about your 5-o’clock glass of wine, you impede your own confidence. You inhibit your ability to be present, and undermine your own power.

Without alcohol, you unleash the ability to resolve conflict, navigate roadblocks, and problem solve setbacks. There is no such thing as liquid courage. True confidence is found with a clear mind!

Keys to success as an entrepreneur

In the midst of working fiercely toward his career, Clint has learned many keys to success. So here’s what you need to know:

Being the smartest, most competent person in the world often doesn’t matter if you can’t connect with people. Talking with Clint is like a story book filled with engaging narratives, while absorbing so much wisdom and advice.

Another valuable note? Being famous is relative. There are numerous people thriving and at the top of their fields that the average person would never have heard of. Tony Robbins is extremely well known, successful, and popular, but if you ask a person on the street who he is, they may not even know him.

What does this mean for you? This means that success doesn’t just look like George Clooney or Lady Gaga. Successful people are known within their circles for their expertise because they have something special and unique to offer them!

So beautiful, ask yourself:

“What is it that makes me special?”

“What stories do I have to share, and what does it take to get it to my right audience?”

And most importantly, “If this was my last year alive, what would I want to accomplish?”

“I travel all over the world, all the time whenever I want, and work from wherever I am with my phone and my laptop. But I work a lot, because rich people work hard. And when you quit drinking and get those extra hours, it gives you the competitive advantage.” Clint Arthur
