What if your next breakthrough, your next big idea, your next divine nudge… has been trying to reach you, but it’s been muted by the fog of alcohol?
Today’s guest, professional medium Isabeau Maxwell, says EVERYBODY is capable of connecting with our higher selves and the spiritual world. Most of the time, there’s just too much clutter in the way to feel that presence – alcohol being one of the greatest culprits.
Isabeau has been channeling and learning from her intuitive gifts for more than 20 years, and in this episode, she shares how to recognize spiritual nudges, detox the energy field, and build a deeper relationship with your higher self. She even walks us through simple practices to strengthen our intuitive muscles starting today.
I got chills so many times during this soul-expanding conversation.
Shout out to anyone listening who feels called to cultivate this work. That whisper? That pull? It might just be your intuition waking back up. Maybe the creative, intuitive YOU is literally waiting underneath the fog!
IN THIS EPISODE:
Isabeau’s story of going from total skeptic to professional medium, including the life-changing moment her grandmother appeared after her passing
Why EVERYONE is intuitive (including you!) and the surprising reason most people are “blocked” from receiving messages and synchronicities in daily life
Practical methods to supercharge your intuition right now, from “ground/clear/protect” exercises to simple rituals for amplifying guidance from your higher self
How drinking creates “clutter” in your mind, body, and energetic field, dampening both spiritual signs and creative inspiration
How choosing an alcohol-free path might be the universe’s nudge for deeper creativity, spiritual awakening, and clear messages about your unique destiny
REFLECTION QUESTION
What types of “clutter” (habits, relationships, thoughts, substances like alcohol, etc.) might be blocking your own intuition or creativity? How could you begin to release or reduce some of that today?
“She showed up in front of me in spirit form, I would say about 70% solid. She was smiling. She winked at me. Scared the socks off of me. I remember I jumped back, I yelled. And then I decided that was a hallucination. The next day, my husband at the time woke up and said, hey, I had a dream about your grandmother. It was very realistic. This is what she was wearing. And he described what I saw the day before, even though I hadn't told him. So it kind of sparked me to go, well, maybe this is real, and I'm going to figure it out. A couple months later, I'm communicating with her.” - Isabeau Maxwell
““The best analogy that I give my students is, it's like a hallway. At the end of the hallway is the mail carrier. They have a message for you that's going to help you, and they need to walk down that hallway to deliver the message. If that hallway is full of excess baggage or chaos, or to-do lists 80 miles long, or if the hallway is filled with the wrong food types for you, or if the hallway is filled up with alcohol, you're asking this mail carrier to walk down that hallway and navigate through it. The less clutter you have physically, emotionally, mentally, the easier it is for intuitive messages to come through.” - Isabeau Maxwell
