Everything You Need to Know to Manifest Your Dream AF Vacation
Months into my alcohol-free journey, I sat on a beach in Hawaii and couldn’t believe how different travel feels without wine clouding my senses.
The sunset was a blend of fiery orange, cotton candy pink, and purple. A light breeze pricked at my skin, soft acoustic music played in the background, and I dug my toes into the silky, smooth sand, finding comfort in its warmth.
With my eyes closed on the beach and in the glow of the soft evening light, my intuition gave me the title of my book. Euphoric.
This was living. I got to fully experience joy, awe, wonder, and adventure like I hadn’t in years because I was alcohol-free.
And women all over the world are waking up to the beauty of alcohol-free travel. Gone are the days when travel was about drinking for hours on end, waking up hungover, and feeling like such crap you don’t even enjoy it.
Women are trading in wine headaches for being fully present, waking up early to fit more adventures into their day, having new experiences, and creating lasting memories.
At the Frontlines of a Revolution
Most people who drink want to drink less or not at all, and most people struggle to stop at just one. Not because there’s anything wrong with them, but because that’s how alcohol acts on the brain.
Alcohol changes the neurochemistry of the brain and dampens our ability to experience life’s natural joys. Over time, we depend on alcohol to feel happy, connected, sensual, and playful.
What happens when you remove alcohol?
Your system recalibrates. Your body and brain adjust, and you have the capacity to feel joy, excitement, and child-like wonder again (all without a drop of alcohol).
Alcohol-free women all over the world are listening to their intuition and honoring their soul calling to travel without alcohol being any sort of focus.
In fact,
40% of travel enthusiasts are planning an alcohol-free vacation in 2024
50% are more interested in accommodations with alcohol-free drinks
& one travel company logged a “notable 220% increase in travelers who do not drink alcohol in 2023 versus 2022.”
And, just like going alcohol-free using programs like Become Euphoric, it’s not about deprivation, FOMO, labels, or “having a problem.”
It's about wellness, spirituality, and focusing on the truly good things in life, like memories, connection, and new experiences.
New Worlds Open to You
Making drinking the focus of travel is actually really boring.
Imagine traveling across the world just to stay at the hotel and sit around the pool or skipping incredible, once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences for drinks at the bar.
You deserve better. You deserve a vacation that’s not about numbing the emotions you don’t want to feel but about having new experiences, creating lasting memories, indulging in true relaxation, and celebrating wellness.
Alcohol-free travel is my favorite thing to do because an alcohol-free vacation looks like THIS—
Enjoying the delicate scents of jasmine and incense while walking the temple-lined streets of Bali
Jumping on the Bali Swing Ubud and flying high above its world-famous rice paddies
Spending a week in the jungle with powerful alcohol-free women who are going to change the world
Bonfires, waterfall hikes, soaking in stunning beaches with sugar-soft sand and sparkling, crystal clear waters, whale watching, snorkeling, and unique opportunities to respectfully and powerfully take part in local indigenous ceremonies.
These are all things we’ve actually done on Euphoric retreats, and I can’t wait to arrange more dreamy adventures soon!
Whether you choose to go on retreat or explore extraordinary destinations on a traditional vacation, I promise alcohol-free travel is going to be an enlivening practice for you.
There’s a big, beautiful energy waiting for you when you wake up to the full experience of the world without alcohol.
TRUE Indulgent Experiences
How many people do you know who romanticize alcohol?
Before going alcohol-free I thought a flute of champagne, a tasting in wine country, or a beautiful meal paired with sommelier’s suggestion of white or red was the ultimate sign of sophistication. They made me feel tasteful and classy, like I was enjoying the good things in life… and who doesn’t want that, right?
You don’t have to give up the good things in life when you ditch alcohol. In fact, going alcohol-free means you get to indulge in life’s luxuries more wholly and completely than ever before. When you’re free from the haze of alcohol, you’re free to deeply appreciate mocktails, food tastings, wellness treatments, and spa days.
When we’re drinking, often we don’t even notice the complex flavors of a craft beverage. We don’t remember the subtleties of a great meal the next day. Food tours are spent anticipating your next drink instead of enjoying the decadent dessert right in front of you.
Now flip the switch.
Imagine sipping a rose and lychee mocktail while sitting outside a boutique café in Paris. Picture waking up early, working out, and watching the sunrise—all before even leaving your bed and breakfast in the morning.
You can use vacations to get spa services, wellness treatments, and even improve your sleep—rich, pleasurable sensory experiences we’re not fully present to when we’re drinking alcohol.
True indulgent experiences are yours for the taking when you follow your intuition and deeper knowing to focus on your surroundings, physical sensations, and lived experiences instead of dampening them with alcohol.
Alcohol-free women are powerful and deeply intuitive. In fact, I believe they know a thing or two other people don’t. Their souls guide them to more meaning, fulfillment, and joy, and their hearts wisely and instinctively know experiences are more enriching without the cloud of alcohol.
And it's catching.
Women are waking up to the incredible perks of vacations sans alcohol. Resorts, hotels, and top vacation destinations are providing more alcohol-free options, and travelers are prioritizing true relaxation (spa days and massages) and adventure over another drink.
Alcohol-free travel is my favorite thing. It’s the secret to child-like wonder, deep connection, and profound and magical spiritual downloads in dreamy places.
