Butterscotch Pineapple

Last night I went to a chic mezcal bar for dinner with my hubby. Yes, sometimes hip new cocktail bars are the best place to find inventive mocktails. They had four on their menu and I loved the spicy pineapple mocktail I tried. I love tangy with spice and little creaminess. Here’s a super easy drink to mix:

Recipe:

4 oz pineapple soda (like Jaritos)

4 oz butterscotch cream soda (like Flying Caldron)

4-6 jalapenos slices

Muddle 2-4 jalapenos slices in a mixing glass and pour in pineapple soda. Strain out the jalapenos and seeds. Pour into a glass with ice and top with butterscotch cream soda, plus 1-3 jalapeno slices. (My jalapeno was super mellow, so you might need a lot less.)

Bonus: I’m absolutely in love with these new glass straws I found from Toma Glass Straws. They’re easy to clean, sustainable, and look gorgeous in a glass.
