Whiskey Sour Mocktail

Whiskey sours are usually made with egg white, though if you’re mixing it up by making an alcohol-free version, why not totally mix it up? For froth and a hint of more sweetness, try cream of coconut. Another alternative to egg whites is aquafaba, or the liquid left over in a can of garbanzo beans. Mimicking the flavors of whiskey is tricky, which is why I love this alcohol-free version from Arkay. Though, if you don’t have an AF spirit, try a maple tea.

Recipe:

Juice of half a lemon

1 oz of cream of coconut (I like the squeezable bottles)

2 oz Arkay Whiskey (or sub with maple tea)

Squeeze and/or juice one lemon into a cocktail shaker. Add the rest of the ingredients and shake with ice. Pour into a short glass with ice, and garnish with lemon slice or maraschino cherry.
