Kate Bee is such an incredible voice in the alcohol-free community and I’m so happy to have her on the show. She is the founder of the Sober School and has created an alcohol-free life that she loves. We talk about her journey and what it was like to quit drinking in England at 29 after YEARS of doubting her relationship to alcohol. But then came some “sober firsts” that helped expand her into a better-developed person. Kate’s best advice for someone just starting out? Do your sober homework. That is, commit to a period of time off alcohol and dive deep into podcasts, books, and blogs.

Listen in to the episode to learn why doing something just to fit in is flawed and what to do if your decision to quit drinking changes your relationships. Plus, Kate’s favorite drink and why you should “drink things that bring you joy.”
