Ep 144: What Are You Waiting For? Your Purpose Is Knocking

Beautiful, do you have a dream, a vision, a goal of a life that is overflowing with joy, passion, and fulfillment? If not, are you holding yourself back from even imagining what it could be?

In this episode of Euphoric, Karolina invites you to dream big and ask what holds you back from going after your biggest dreams. Learn the significant difference between fear and regret, and discover how you probably already have the skills you need to overcome your worst case scenario! Be filled with encouragement and motivation to take that first step toward your greater purpose.

What are you waiting for?

What are you waiting for?

Our lives are not meant to be a waiting game. I lived my life like that for a very long time, and if that’s you, it’s okay. The flipside? Sleepwalking through life teaches us to really honor our choice to wake up.

When we ignore our inner calling, our lives become a sacrifice - something we want to escape from.

And can we really inspire those we love to be whoever they want, if we’re not living that life ourselves? If you live your life for others or based on societal expectations, you lose out on passion, joy, and true fulfillment.

So what are you waiting for?

It's amazingly incredible just how much our world has shifted and how much possibility exists that didn't exist 30 years ago. Even 35 years ago, the internet did not exist! There's a world of opportunity out there that never existed for your parents or our grandparents, and that gives me chills.

Regret is always worse than fear.

A lot of times, the things we want sound AMAZING, but the road to get there is difficult. Maybe we want financial independence, more autonomy, more freedom, the ability to express our creativity into the world.

But which is worse? The fear of going after what you want, or waking up to a life of regret because you never gave your dreams a chance? We are not on this Earth with this one life to play it safe, beautiful.

Taking that first step toward your dream often comes with resistance or procrastination, which is likely rooted in fear. I actually almost didn’t share my truth about being alcohol-free (and this important, vulnerable message with the world), because I was so obsessed with what others would think!

Think about the people who most inspire you. Have you ever thought about why they inspire you? I’ll bet it’s because they challenge you to live life differently, or they inspire you to show up in the world and play a bigger game.

We all have to face the same fears, so maybe the people who are successful and happy are the ones who are willing to face and move through them. What really separates you from other people is your willingness to show up for the life you want.

Stronger than your worst case scenario.

Our minds are designed to problem solve, plan, and keep us alive. When you think about this big dream or vision and fear crops up, it’s likely your thoughts will default to the worst case scenario.

Before you let the fear stop you, play it out. Picture your worst case situation. Because a lot of the time that worst outcome is something we have the ability to navigate.

When I thought about quitting my job and pursuing coaching full time I dug into my biggest fears. As I walked it back I realized it came down to a fear of losing my husband, not ending up homeless like I thought. That was when a dear friend reminded me that what also could break up a marriage is one person not going after what they really want, and then resenting their partner.

What I want you to take away from this is that we only have one life to live, and holding ourselves back because of fear will only lead to regret. Instead of allowing fear to hold you back, I want to encourage you to push through that fear and become the version of yourself you were always meant to be.

I'm rooting for you. I love you. I believe in your dreams so much. You wouldn't be here if you weren't made for more.

“You are here for a reason. No one like you has ever existed on the planet before, nor will they ever exist. You have the experiences, the personality, the skills, the talents, the interest, the passions that no one else on the planet has. Are you expressing the life you really want to live? Are you doing the things you really want to do? And if not, what are you waiting for?” Karolina Rzadkowolska
