Episode 270: How to Get Your Partner on Board With Your Business Vision
What if the only thing standing between you and your dream business… is your partner’s support?
When I first told my husband I wanted to launch an alcohol-free coaching business, he had no frame of reference for it. He was nice about it, but had no clue about the potential.
Friends and family are often the last ones to understand your vision – and in fact, in trying to protect you from falling on your face, they might even try to talk you out of it.
In the newest episode of Euphoric the Podcast, I’m pulling back the curtain on what it really took to get my husband on board with my massive dream. Spoiler alert: he’s now my business partner, COO, and CFO. But that transformation didn’t happen overnight.
I’ll share the exact strategic moves and conversations that helped me lead with my vision, even when no one else could see it.
I also share candid insights about my mom’s journey from a post-war communist country to achieving the American dream, even when my dad wasn’t sure (and why women are often the visionaries in the family).
It is SO important to give yourself permission to be the visionary.

Why women often are less likely to start businesses than men are – and yet, statistically women entrepreneurs outperform men
REFLECTION QUESTION:
Reflect on a time when you had a visionary idea that others around you, especially close family or friends, didn’t understand. How did you navigate their skepticism, and what was the outcome of your decision to pursue or not pursue the idea?
“I want you to be okay with them not understanding it because oftentimes when you have an idea in your mind – and the same thing applies to your friends or your family – they're the last people who can understand it for you. And hopefully our partners are a little bit more supportive and a little bit more believing in us. But especially our friends and family, they're the last ones that are gonna understand it. They will not see what you see. They'll think you're crazy. And in order to try to protect you from potentially falling flat on your face, they're gonna potentially even try to talk you out of it.” - Karolina
“It's so uncanny that women start businesses less than men do. Because here's also the interesting little tidbit. Statistically, women as entrepreneurs outperform men. So women have healthier financial companies, they make bigger profits, they get off the ground faster, they're more successful than men. Isn't that crazy? Right? And yet we're the ones who are asking for permission if I can even start this business and if I can invest in myself.” -Karolina
